Following our recent chat with Antony Rotunno, I thought I would draw attention to these fascinating recordings of conversations between the American composers John Cage and Morton Feldman from 1966 and 67. The conversations seems to have been broadcast on radio, and the audio quality is very high, making you feel like these two men are in the next room.
For anyone interested in the "avant-garde" music/art scene of the mid-C20th, I highly recommend these true gems—fascinating chats about life, philosophy, music and art between two controversial and enigmatic composers, and good friends.
