Albert Parker & Clifford D. Ollier, "Is the Sea Level Stable at Aden, Yemen?", Earth Systems & Environment, 1:18 (December 2017)

Many of you will remember that Dr. Nils-Axel Mörner (former Head of Paleogeophysics & Geodynamics at the University of Stockholm) came on TMR back in 2013 to share with us his assessment that Global Sea Level is not rising at the alarming rates favoured by the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). This recent paper by Parker and Ollier, which cites Mörner, echoes that view, and finds reason to be suspicious of sea level data alignments published by the UK's Permanent Service for Mean Sea Level.

"The sea levels have, therefore, been stable in Aden, as at Karachi and Mumbai, over all the 20th century."—Parker & Ollier
