"Quercetin as Zinc Ionophore and COVID-19 Outpatient Management", Drbeen Medical Lectures YouTube channel (12 April 2020)
I am rather taken with this man. He seems to be a very good communicator, and he shares some interesting material. This one attracted my attention in particular. In this video he discusses—really for the benefit of fellow medics, but it's easy to follow—the possible merits of a substance called Quercetin (which, I admit, I had never heard of before) in the fight against Covid-19. According to him, Quercetin may act as a zinc "ionophore", and thus possibly be useful as part of a treatment regimen for the disease.
Again, please be aware that I am not a medical doctor! My PhD is in music, not medicine. In fact, I have no training in medicine whatsoever, so please do not take this posting as medical advice in any way. I am simply sharing with you something of interest.
