Alvin Plantinga, Warranted Christian Belief, Oxford University Press (2000), ebook via Christian Classics Ethereal Library

This book had quite an impact upon me when I first read it several years ago, so I thought I'd let you know about the free ebook version that's been made available at the Christian Classics Ethereal Library. (Just click the above link to go to the download page.)

Alvin Plantinga is widely considered to be one of the world's greatest living Christian philosophers. His Warranted Christian Belief, published by Oxford University Press (2000) is a fascinating, controversial - though surprisingly readable (for an academic work of philosophy!) - book that argues persuasively and rigorously in favour of the "intellectual or rational acceptability of Christian belief." Is it rational to believe? Plantinga's argument goes much further: not only is it rational to believe, Christian belief is also warranted; for if Christianity is true, then the God-given cognitive faculties that give rise to Christian belief, actually produce knowledge.
